What are the payment terms at Autech Plastics?

If the customer qualifies for credit, our standard terms for molded parts are net 30.

 

Terms for molds are set on the particular project.  The most typical terms for qualifying customers are

30% with PO

30% at mold 50% complete

30% at sample delivery

10% at approval (due before production)

What are typical lead times?

Normal lead times are on the order of 4 to 6 weeks, depending on project complexity.  It is possible to make arrangements to shorten these lead times.  There are products we have in stock, ready to ship within 1 day.

Who are the key personnel at Autech Plastics?

The President is Charles F. Beck.  Mr. Beck takes responsibility for Sales, Engineering, Most purchasing, and problem solving.  Mr. Beck entered the molding industry early in the 1970’s and has held key positions at many major molding firms, including Quality Manager, Manager of Engineering Services, Production Manage, Plant Manager, General Manager, President.

 

The Plant Manager is Alan Merkley.  Manager of Technical Services is Paul Haberlau.  The Assistant to the President is Pam, Pam handles most customer service.  All these personnel are senior, knowledgeable, and experienced.

Is Autech Plastics ISO certified?

At the present Autech Plastics is not ISO certified.  We have contracted with consultants and developed a timetable to achieve ISO certification. Significant progress is being made here and we hope to complete our certification soon.
